The reason why I wanted to write this blog is because looking back on this journey, I began with God, I realized I’m just a girl following Christ. As I grew, it seemed like this walk got more complicated as my understanding grew. Though, what God has made me realize is that no matter how much I grow or how far I go, the walk has always been quite simple. The walk did not change, I just began to over complicate my understanding of God moving around me as I walked in obedience. However, my one job never changed through the entire journey, and that is to follow Christ, to obey the steps, in which, He put in front of me. No matter how far I grow, I am still His child, and He is still my Father walking with me hand in hand. And then that brings me to my next revelation about this journey with Christ. The journey is a building of a relationship with Christ. Everything we are able to do through is Christ is the fruit of the relationship with Him. The relationship is the process of becoming one with Christ the process of us decreasing that He may increase within us to be able to do all things through Christ according to His Will for our Will will match God’s will because we are one. It is what He does within us that produces good fruits, His unconditional love that brings everything together into harmony. To know God is to love God for God is love. Let everything you do be done in love. The second commandment is much like the first. Building a relationship is coming together with Him in one harmony through unconditional love. In Him, you will find everything you have ever longed for knowingly and unknowingly. For His love fills up even the holes you did not know were there. Take the disciples, for instance, Jesus built relationships with them. It was not all about purpose. He fellowshipped with the disciples as they walked. He, knew them intimately even though He knew they would betray him and turn their back on Him, He still loved them. Unconditionally. That is the same God that I serve today.
